Libs silent on Lindsay candidate, as Australia First steps up

Truckie Mick Saunders is the Australia First candidate for Lindsay.

AS Lindsay Federal Labor MP David Bradbury steps up his election campaign, there is still no news as to who his Liberal opponent will be.

With August 28 still the favourite election date with bookmaker Centrebet, the Liberals have put preselection for local state seats - with that poll exactly a year away - ahead of Lindsay. It has been rumoured Senator Marise Payne may contest Lindsay. When the Press tried to contact her this week, she did not respond, even after we called her office regularly for more than a day.

Meanwhile, the Australia First Party’s candidate for Lindsay is Kingswood’s Mick Saunders, who has a truck driving business. “I met David Bradbury two years ago (at a stop work meeting for truck drivers) and asked him to cut the taxes on fuel,” he said. “I asked him that, when we were paying $1.84 on diesel, to cut the taxes so us drivers could still earn a living. “He said it would be bad for economics. He didn’t want to know (about the roll-on effects of drivers out of work).”

Mr Saunders, who has been in transport all his life since joining the army at 17, said he met the Australia First Party in 2008 and agreed with its ideas on “how to fix the country”. He said for the Penrith region he wanted to look at the hospital system, rail, roads, water and small business. “I believe we need another hospital somewhere,” he said.

Tower of Hope a traveling success!

We are happy to report that Saturday's Tower of Hope meeting for Peter Spencer - was a complete success. Not only did the meeting raise over $1000 to help Peter spread his message, it was also  an excellent opportunity for Queenslanders to get involved.

The message at the end of the day, is a simple message. If we don't fight we lose! It is up to the Australian people to get involved and start taking our message to the streets. A mass people's movement using passive resistance as the weapon!

Peter thanked Australia First Toowoomba, saying that although the Tower of Hope movement is Party-neutral, he was happy to accept the support of any Party willing to help the Tower of Hope group spread their message.

Australia First Queensland would like to thank all those who attended. We wish also to thank the good people from Agmates who have worked so hard to help Peter Spencer.

Support for Australia First on the day was very evident with volunteers signing up many new members after Peter finished speaking.

It was also revealed on Saturday that three presiding High Court judges (Gummow, Heydon, and Bell) ordered that the Peter Spencer matter (Spencer v Commonwealth of Australia) be referred to the full bench of the High Court. This is great news. More on this Here.

Climate Change. Land Grab or Just another Tax?

http://www.weeklytimesnow.com.au/opinion/index.html

Wong's drought claims questioned

AUSTRALIA'S top climate scientist has contradicted Federal Government claims the drought in the Murray Darling Basin is due to global warming.

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change lead author, Prof Neville Nicholls, said the claim was not backed by science.

"The current dry period (in the Murray Darling Basin) might still be just a fluke, or natural variability," Prof Nicholls said.

"We cannot confidently attribute it to global warming."

Yet Federal Climate Change and Water Minister Penny Wong has repeatedly claimed the basin's drought is due to climate change.

"Research shows that this severe, extended drought is clearly linked with global warming," Senator Wong said in November last year.

"There is nowhere that this challenge is more serious than the Murray Darling Basin."

But while rainfall has dropped to record lows, other scientists say the statistics don't back Senator Wong's claim.

Prof Steven Sherwood, of the University of NSW Climate Change Research Centre, said the "sceptics here are (for once) technically correct, in that there is no proven link - yet - between Murray Darling drought and climate change".

A spokeswoman for Senator Wong said findings from the South Eastern Australian Climate Change Initiative showed the current extended drought was linked to climate change.

"Whilst the influence of greenhouse gas emissions do not account for all the observed variations and patterns of this extended drought, they are clearly identified as a factor in the severity of the drought," the spokeswoman said.

However, lead SEACI researcher Bertrand Timbal said his work was not at the stage where he could confidently say the drought was due to climate change in southeast Australia.

Dr Timbal said he was confident the decline in the basin's autumn rainfall went beyond what any of the computer climate models could naturally produce.

Many of the basin's irrigators back the scientific view that the current drought is not linked to global warming.

Yarroweyah irrigator James McKeown said Senator Wong's claim was ridiculous.

"The way I look upon this is that climate change is something that happens over hundreds of years, not in 10 (years)," Mr McKeown said.

"I'd like to know where she (Senator Wong) got it from - that the drought is due to climate change. Give us a name of the person or organisation who reported this."

GLOBAL WARMING IS STILL A HOAX

Source

by Jeff Davis

While it may seem like I’m beating a dead horse, this is one “horse” that needs to stay dead. It is absolutely vital for Americans and everyone in the world to understand: GLOBAL WARMING IS A HOAX.

The British Daily Mail reports: “Scientists at the heart of the Climategate row were yesterday accused by a leading academic body of undermining science’s credibility. The Institute of Physics said worrying implications had been raised after it was revealed the University of East Anglia had manipulated data on global warming. The rebuke – the strongest yet from the scientific community – came as Professor Phil Jones, the researcher at the heart of the scandal, told MPs he had written ’some pretty awful emails’ – but denied trying to suppress data. The Climategate row, which was first revealed by the Daily Mail in November, was triggered when a hacker stole hundreds of emails sent from East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit. They revealed scientists plotting how to avoid responding to Freedom of Information requests from climate change sceptics.

Some even appeared to show the researchers discussing how to manipulate raw data from tree rings about historical temperatures. In one, Professor Jones talks about using a trick to massage figures and hide the decline.”

It should always be remembered that militant liberal and hard core Marxists were hoping to use Global Warming as an excuse to punish Capitalism. The Democrats saw the Global Warming scam as an opportunity to increase taxes on big corporations based on CO2 production. Any corporation that didn’t donate enough money to the Democrats would no doubt find themselves mercilessly hounded by liberal bureaucrats imposing insanely restrictive regulations. That’s what Global Warming was really all about.

The article continues “Giving evidence to a Science and Technology Committee inquiry, the Institute of Physics said: ‘Unless the disclosed emails are proved to be forgeries or adaptations, worrying implications arise for the integrity of scientific research and for the credibility of the scientific method. The principle that scientists should be willing to expose their results to independent testing and replication by others, which requires the open exchange of data, procedures and materials, is vital.’ ”

Not only would Global Warming be used to extort money from big corporations; some liberals wanted to pay Third World nations for all the pollution caused by the industrialized world –a sort of Global welfare system. Once again White people were going to be punished and compelled to feel guilty about having a more advanced lifestyle than billions of Third World poor.

Like the seizure of the American health care system by the Democrats, global warming (or “climate change” as it is now called to avoid the embarrassingly obvious fact that the earth is by no means warming) gives the world Marxist establishment a chance to do by stealth what they have never been able to do by force and violence–impose socialism on the developed world and create what amounts to a global welfare state where the prosperous White nations will be forced to support the underdeveloped and primitive black and brown nations forever.

Significantly, the two major non-White industrial powers, China and India, refuse to have anything to do with any of this Global Warming nonsense. They refuse to cut back their carbon emissions and refuse to cut back their use of coal and petroleum. It is only the White nations of the West who are expected to cut their own economic throats.

Japanese Multinationals Threaten Australian Workers: Who Comes First – Australia Or The Foreign Bosses?

Australia 1945

Australia 2010

JAPANESE business leaders have issued a threat to Australia and Australian workers, stating in their jaundiced language that “a fresh wave of union militancy threatens the supply of crucial resources and billion-dollar investments.”

Australian nationalists know that some unions have raised workplace issues, compelled as they occasionally must be by the rank and file, which put the immediate interests of the worker at loggerheads with the profit-driven Japanese multinationals.

Australian nationalists know that attacks upon the union movement are seldom calculated to curtail a crook union leadership or to overcome some fault of industrial behaviour. Rather, they are usually designed to make ordinary Australian workers subservient to the foreign bosses – particularly right now when the globalised economy totters on a knife edge.

Nippon Steel's Australian boss, Yoshifumi Nakata, said his company wanted assurances Australia would not return to the “industrial days of the 1970s” when Japan was “forced” to look to Brazil for key supplies.

The steel giant was "afraid and very concerned" that an escalation in industrial action would disrupt export markets, Mr Nakata said. "We are seriously concerned with the stable supply of raw materials, particularly iron ore and coking coal," he added.

This is all rhetorical muck that was used 30 years ago by the Fraser (and then Hawke) governments to attack, not a few corrupt unions and silly work-rules, but the tried and true structures of Australian workplace culture. We now live with the results of that foul attack: work contracts, visa labour, fewer union rights, intrusive courts and commissions and so on.

It can be rightly said that the Japanese multinationals are more concerned about what they can rip out of Australia vast wealth, with lowering the price of Australian labour and weakening proper conditions, than with any issue of industrial lawlessness.

Nippon Steel, one of Japan's largest steel producers, is among several foreign firms to express “concern” over growing industrial militancy in Western Australia. Indeed, some unions have called snap strikes and disrupted production work there in in past months. And why not? At the moment the unions demand fairness. The day will come when the Australian People will demand an end to the fire-sale of our national wealth!

The fear of the foreigner for any form of union activity comes as workplace relations, emerge as an issue in the next election. The two faces of the regime (Liberal and Labor) will vie with each other to promise the Japanese multinationals that they will curtail the unions and they will spin the Australian suburban voter wild tales about trade union thuggery stopping projects that will make us all rich -  as their justification for stripping us of the right to freely associate in unions and fight industrial struggles.

Resources giant Woodside Petroleum last month announced it was suing the Construction Forestry Mining and Energy Union (CFMEU) after the union called an eight-day strike. The action halted development of Woodside's $12 billion liquefied natural gas processing plant on the North West Shelf. This project feeds Chinese imperialism and not just the Japanese. The union should be praised, not criticised!

With annual exports of $50 billion, Japan is Australia’s biggest market. Iron ore and coal account for exports worth about $30 billion while LNG exports are valued at $8 billion. There is nothing wrong with trade with Japan, but there is everything wrong when the Japanese multinationals can demand openly that restrictions be placed on Australian workers and their industrial organizations.

The Japanese concerns were raised during all-day Australian-Japanese talks behind closed doors in Canberra last week. Japanese delegates directly raised the matter of Australia's industrial past. In their view, they want subservient unions like in Japan. They wanted assurances government would act against unions and workers.

Western Australia Treasurer Troy Buswell said: "Investors are growing very nervous." And such a worthy group of parasites these investors are! As if,we must run when investors crack the whip.

The answer of our traitor class is always to rule for the foreign master. The idea of establishing an economy for Australians is not on their agenda. Nonetheless, threats to the Australian workers may spread the idea of Australian Independence, the vision splendid where the ordinary people control their own wealth and their own country.
