It is with great pleasure that I can now advise that a meeting will be held at midday on Saturday 10th July at the CWA Hall, Crnr Garden & Young St SOUTHPORT, QLD.
The meeting will serve a variety of functions – to formalise State arrangements, decide on electoral activity and to plan community activities upon a strategy.
This is an exciting opportunity for all to get in early and be involved in developing activities and strategy for AFP....all welcome!

i also have been active in politics for decades & have seen new 3rd way or force minor parties come & go.
When the numbers of people are small, many of the few, burn out & the whole thing withers & dies.
THE ONLY HOPE YOUR PARTY HAS FOR SURVIVAL OR GROWTH IS TO DEVOTE, "THE LIMITED MANPOWER" AT HAND NOW TO SIGNING UP NEW MEMBERS, THE HARD WAY, AS PERRY SUGGESTED, OR ON CAREFULLY ORCHESTRATED, MEDIA STUNTS, THAT WILL GIVE YOU A "PAULINE HANSON" MOMENT, WHERE SOME "POSITIVE" MEDIA ATTENTION WILL HOPEFULLY ATTRACT NEW MEMBERS.
My own personal way to fight the CARS, Communist, Anarchist, Radical, Socialists is by blogging on influential news, current affairs, politics & religion web sites like OLO or http://onlineopinion.com.au/
Its the new digital equivalent of writing a letter to the editor, which i was very good at. My hit rate in the Courier Mail or the Australian was 90% of letters sent, published.
the trick is to be extremely precise with your choice of words so as to be controversial enough to warrant publishing or making good reading on an editorial page, without going too far.
